May I make a strong suggestion that you replace that micro-USB connector with a more user friendly and functional mini-USB connector? I am in the process of trying to exchange or return my Mophie Juice Air because both my original and replacement device broke at the all too flimsy micro-USB connection. Again, I can no longer sync my iPhone or recharge. Why not make a sturdier connection? You have a great idea with this design; if only it wouldn’t break every two months! Thanks.

The IPHONE does not charge while being charged in Mophie? What is the problem. I am using the USB cable that came in the box. Message keeps coming up indicating that it does not recognize the device.

Frustrated.

I was about to buy the JPa but no one knows in apple stores if the micro/usb cord of the JPA can be use to sync with the computer? Please, notify me by email if it works or not. Thank you.

I have a tried to connect my iPhone to my car stereo using the Micro USB cable, but it doesn’t recognize it with this connection. Is this a TRUE pass through? What do you think the problem could be… I hate to keep removing the cover every time I use the iPhone…

I am using it with an Alpine IDA-X305 receiver - its made to work with the iPod???

@John: Hey John, Apple, unfortunately does not license out their Female 30-pin connectors. So we can not incorporate it into any juice pack or cord. Sorry bout that! We are just as disappointed.

Why don’t you make the battery pack with the full connection at the bottom. I have MY VU glasses that can not connect to the small connect port.

Just wanted to say that this light weight, form fitting Juice Pack Air (JPA) is a great complement to the 3G iPhone. Looking at other (bulky & unappealing) external battery type gadgetry’s, the Juice Pack Air is a winner. Nicely done! Now, all we need is something to carry the JPA/iPhone like a “hip, lateral or horizontal” pouch/case on the waist. (Hint).
