  1. Very interesting, but debit cards are probably not supported as they normally require a certified pinpad. Chips are probably not supported too.

  4. like you would if you used one in a restaraunt, debit cards can be used the same as credit cards (in the US at least) so thats an easy fix right there. is this universal with every credit card app or does it only work with a certain app right now?

  9. @Aaron: You can provide a signature with a stylus or just your finger. We’ve been doing a lot of finger signatures lately and it works great.

  10. @chris: Hey Chris. The marketplace does work with credit and debit cards. It really will work with anything that has a magnetic strip as long as there is an app for it. We do have our own app for it but you will be able to use it on other credit card apps too!

  11. Hey guys, Will you guys be integrated with a merchant or will the purchaser of this product have to find one on their own? Similar to any POS CC machine? I love it and looks better than the square…but a one stop shop is invaluable for my small mobile business. Thanks

  13. What’s the timeline on this? Is it in beta yet? Are we talking release plans for 2010, or later?

  14. Can you give an estimated date when this will be released? I’d love to be able to use it at the farmer’s market I sell at which starts in May.

Also, Can you use any merchant account or will it be afiliated with a certain bank?
